Hello, and welcome to our first blog!
We are thrilled to launch the official Xera Tech blog — a space where we'll share our journey, innovations, project highlights, industry insights, and the stories behind the lights you see brightening streets, factories, parks, and stadiums across India and the Middle East.
This first post is a little special: it's our chance to introduce ourselves properly — who we are, where we started, how far we've come, and where we're headed. So grab a cup of chai and read on.
About Us
Who is Xera Tech?
Xera Tech (officially X Era Tech) is a Nashik-based manufacturer and exporter of premium LED and solar lighting solutions. Founded by Mr. Sagar Faragade, the company operates from two manufacturing hubs — Plot No. Gen-73/19, Satpur MIDC, and Legend Industrial Park, MIDC Ambad — both in Nashik, Maharashtra.
We design and manufacture our products entirely in-house, using the best available resources and a skilled team of engineers and researchers who keep pace with the latest advances in lighting technology. Our products are known for their sturdy construction, damage resistance, perfect brightness, and long operational life — engineered to perform in the harshest conditions, from -40°C to +60°C.
From energy-efficient street lights on Indian highways to solar flood lights powering petrol stations in Oman, Xera Tech products are built to last — and to shine.

A decade of light — our 10-year story
2014
The spark — humble beginnings
Xera Tech is established in Nashik's Satpur MIDC. With a clear vision to bring energy-efficient, high-quality LED lighting to India, Mr. Sagar Faragade set up a small but determined manufacturing unit.
2016 – 2017
First certifications & product range expansion
The company secured its first BIS certifications for LED luminaires and expanded its product line to include LED street lights, flood lights, and high bay lights — all designed in-house for Indian market conditions.
2018 – 2019
Government approvals & solar lineup
Xera Tech earned PWD and ERDA approvals, making its products eligible for government infrastructure projects. The solar street light range was launched — featuring LiFePO4 batteries for a battery life of 8–10 years.
2020 – 2021
Scaling up — new facility & GeM registration
A second manufacturing facility was added at Legend Industrial Park, MIDC Ambad. The company registered on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), becoming an approved vendor for public sector procurement across India.
2022 – 2023
Going international — Middle East expansion
Xera Tech began exporting to UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain. A dedicated UAE portal (uae.xeratech.in) was launched to serve Middle East clients. Projects like the Oryx station lighting in Muscat, Oman, put Xera Tech on the global map.
2024 – Present
10,000+ clients & still growing
With 10,000+ clients served, 19+ states covered, 60+ designer pole designs, and a full portfolio from 20W street lights to 50-meter high masts, Xera Tech continues to grow — and today, we're launching this blog to stay even closer to our community.
